Bareboat Charter Policies & Boat Rules
Charter Type & Captain Requirements

This is a bareboat rental. A licensed captain is not included.

The renter must hire a licensed USCG captain independently. A referral will be provided.

If no qualified operator is provided at the time of departure, the charter will be canceled with no refund.
Weather Policy

We operate rain or shine unless conditions are unsafe (lightning, high winds, or small craft advisories).

Weather cancellations are not based on forecasts, but on real-time conditions at the harbor.

If unsafe conditions exist at the scheduled departure time, you may:

Reschedule (subject to availability), or
-
Receive a refund minus a 25% reservation fee.

Cloudy skies, light rain, or cool temperatures do not qualify as grounds for cancellation.
Fuel Policy

Fuel is not included in the rental price, $50 per hour.
Cleaning Policy

Renter is subject to additional fees if the boat is excessively messy or stained.

$100 cleaning fee will apply.
Cancellation & Refund Policy
-
Full refund if canceled 30 days before your booking date.

Cancellations made within 14 days of departure are non-refundable, unless weather forces cancellation.

No-shows or late arrivals over 60 minutes will be considered canceled with no refund.
Late Arrival Policy

Your reservation begins at the scheduled time, not at arrival.

Late arrivals will reduce your time on the water.

Please communicate delays as early as possible so we can try to accommodate you.
Safety & Compliance

Maximum of 12 passengers per U.S. Coast Guard regulations

Life jackets provided for all guests; children under 13 must wear one at all times

Renter assumes full liability for all guests on board

No illegal substances or underage drinking permitted

Boat must be operated in accordance with all U.S. Coast Guard and local harbor regulations
Boat Rules

No red wine, glass bottles, pets, or smoking
-
No black-soled shoes (barefoot or non-marking footwear only)

Damage to the boat or its equipment is the financial responsibility of the renter.
What to Bring:
Stuff- Towels, Hats, sunglasses, lotion sunscreen ( aerosol spray sunscreen will turn our seats blue), Dramamine ( take before to prevent sea sickness), floaties ( inflate them after you arrive), etc. We are more than willing to accommodate special requests.
Food - Finger foods are the best for a day out on the water. We can also coordinate for reservations or deliveries
Drinks - Canned beverages, durable containers, boxed wine, etc.
We provide coolers; you need to bring your own ice. A liquor and ice delivery service to the dock is available.
alcohol is permitted for 21+
What not to bring
Glass bottles or drinkware; nothing you would want to break and step on, staining beverages, glitter, pets, paint, and inappropriate footwear.

We reserve the right to refuse service to any group behaving unsafely, violating charter rules, or under the influence before boarding

The boat is thoroughly inspected before and after each trip
